A group of older LGBTQ+ people have  developed, through a series of workshops, their stories of how the past impacted upon their ability to live an authentic life. The Hidden Lives project highlights the changes that have impacted on LGBTQ+ people, their friends and families by the telling of emotional and heart-breaking stories of shame, rejection, love, acceptance and celebration. The project recorded stories give an unmatched insight into the lives of older LGBTQ+ people and why some still feel unable to be their true selves all the time. Hidden Lives is a unique opportunity to discover the past, know the present and plan for the future of LGBTQ+ communities.
