Volunteering with Body Positive is an enjoyable and rewarding experience. Our vision is to have a community that celebrates diversity and healthy relationships. Your community needs you to help LGBT+ people become stronger, more independent, and live happier, fulfilled lives. This is particularly important post-lockdown as many people are feeling anxious and have lost their confidence with LGBT+ people more effected than ever. The following pportunities are available now

Counsellors – qualified and trainee counsellors are needed to help to support our service users psychological and emotional wellbeing.

Event Practitioners – Help to provide information and support activities at our events to promote equality and raise the visibility of the LGBT+ community in Cheshire

Social Group Facilitators – Support people who are LGBT+ to build new friendships and feel more connected to the community. Ideal for anyone who can make a good tea and coffee and enjoys a chat.

Trustees – Guide the charity’s strategic direction and oversee Body Positive’s finances and ethical practices.
