LGBT+ History Month 2023 looks at the progress made over the last 40+ years in the fight against HIV and AIDS. 50 Shades of Pink features this progress in the treatment and the cultural attitudes to HIV in the UK and highlights the campaigns and social groups that were formed to protest against discrimination.

Body Positive and Silver Rainbows present a number of activities and events across Cheshire to remember the people who died during the 1980s and the stigma they and their families and friends endured. There is a chance to contribute to a memorial quilt with workshops at the Weaver Hall Museum in Northwich. We also highlight the new developments in treatment with the Get PrEPPED For HIV campaign www.cheshirecheese.org.uk/prep
