Jay Terry is the latest artist to hold an exhibition at Tom’s Tap and Brewhouse.

Jay is a local artist living in Cheshire but originally from London. She studied art in Ireland earning a BA hons degree in fine art; and works mainly in oils because she finds it more expressive and versatile to convey feelings and expressions.

Jay likes to work from her imagination having influences from the surrealists who delve into the subconscious. She has had exhibitions in Ireland and was an artist in residence at The Model Art Gallery in Sligo Ireland. Jays current exhibition is called Her it’s about exploring femininity through abstraction, figurative work and street art.

The launch party on Wednesday 7th February, Tom's Tap and Brewhouse, 7.30pm is a chance for the public to meet the artist and discuss her work.
