For June 2024 Pride in Alsager is organising a poster art competition in conjunction with Alsager Library.  The theme for entries is Alsager - We all belong.

To enter you are invited to produce an original painting, drawing, creative photograph, piece of digital art or equivalent on the theme of We all Belong. Show us your rainbow colours and designs to illustrate community, inclusion, equality and diversity because we all belong regardless of our similarities or differences including who we love and how we express ourselves. Your art can be abstract or literal but we’d like to see plenty of colour and creative ideas to show that Alsager is safe and inclusive for everyone.  

There are 4 age groups for entrants, 6 and under, 7-11, 12-16 and 16+. To enter please produce your art on an A4 sheet and hand it in to Alsager Library between 10am on the 10th and 1pm on the 20th of June. You'll need to add your name, age group and contact details/parents contact details, if under 18, on the back of your entry.  

There will be a prize giving in the Library at 11am on the 22nd of June with presentation of prizes for the winners by local artist and illustrator Matt Buckingham. Winning entries will be on display in the library for a week after the competition.
