ADHD Support Group
Being both LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent comes with unique challenges, and it’s not always easy to untangle where those challenges come from. Many of us have been led to believe that our struggles are rooted in our sexuality or gender identity, when in fact, ADHD often plays a significant role in how we think, feel, and interact with the world. This group offers a space to explore those intersections in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.
The monthly online support group is a welcoming space for LGBTQ+ people with ADHD to connect, share experiences, and learn from each other. The group recognises that everyone is at a different stage in their journey, and they encourage open conversations that foster understanding and self-acceptance.
Please be aware that the group may cover some delicate areas of conversation—we ask you to be mindful of your own capacity when choosing to join.
You can find out more about the group, the hosts Kathleen Helm and Paul Fretwell and when they next meet by visiting https://events.adhduk.co.uk/events/list/?tribe-bar-search=lgbtq or scan the QR code below.
