Un-Shuttered is a project exploring LGBTQ+ histories, memories and stories across Chester. Over the past few months, participants have explored the city through photography, storytelling and zine-making, exploring the people, places and experiences that form part of our LGBTQ+ heritage.

The exhibition brings these stories together through photographs, a zine and oral histories. Alongside the Unshuttered project we will be showcasing work made by participants of True Colours and Youth Voices projects.

Tuesday 13th - Sunday 18th October, 11am - 4pm daily.

30 St Werburgh Street, Chester, CH1 2DY

We’ll also be hosting creative workshops alongside the exhibition, including photo-collage, poetry, photo embroidery and badge making.

Places can be booked through the Workshop page of the Radiate Arts website here: https://www.radiatearts.co.uk/what-s-on

The project and exhibition have been made possible through funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, The National Lottery Community Fund and the Cheshire West and Chester Equalities Event Fund.
